Twocents Refund Policy

This Refund Policy ("Policy") describes Twocents' approach to refunds for paid subscriptions to the Twocents platform ("Subscriptions"). This Policy applies to all Subscriptions purchased through our website and processed by our payment provider, Paddle, acting as the Merchant of Record.


1. Payments Processed by Paddle

All payments for Twocents Subscriptions are processed by Paddle, which acts as the Merchant of Record and is responsible for payment processing, tax handling, compliance, and refund execution (if applicable).

Any refunds approved under this Policy will be issued by Paddle in accordance with Paddle's processes and timelines.


2. 14-Day Cancellation and Refund Window

You may have the right to cancel your Subscription within fourteen (14) days from the date of initial purchase and receive a refund of the subscription fee paid.

To exercise this right, you must notify Twocents within the 14-day period by contacting business.support@twocents.io and providing your Paddle order ID.

Where permitted by law and applicable terms, this right to cancel may not apply once access to the Subscription and its digital services has begun or where the services have been substantially used.


3. No Refunds as a General Rule (After 14 Days)

Except as described in Section 2 above, all subscription fees are non-refundable by default.

This includes, without limitation:

  • Initial subscription fees
  • Renewal charges (monthly or annual)
  • Partially used subscription periods
  • Unused time remaining after cancellation

Once a payment has been successfully processed, Twocents does not guarantee refunds or credits, except where required by applicable law or as expressly approved at Twocents' sole discretion.


4. Discretionary Refunds

While Twocents maintains a general no-refund policy outside the 14-day window, we may, in rare and exceptional circumstances, issue a refund at our sole discretion.

Examples of situations that may be reviewed include:

  • Duplicate or erroneous charges
  • Material technical issues that significantly prevent access to the service
  • Other exceptional circumstances reviewed on a case-by-case basis

The existence of these examples does not create an obligation to issue refunds in any instance.

To request a discretionary review, please contact business.support@twocents.io and include your Paddle order ID and relevant details.


5. Subscription Cancellation

You may cancel your Subscription at any time through your account dashboard or by contacting customer support.

  • Cancellation stops future billing.
  • You will retain access to paid features until the end of your current billing period.
  • No refunds or prorated credits are provided for unused time unless expressly approved at Twocents' discretion or required by law.

6. Free Trials

If Twocents offers a free trial, no payment is collected during the trial period. Because no payment is made during a free trial, no refund applies to trial access.

It is your responsibility to cancel before the trial ends if you do not wish to be charged.


7. Chargebacks and Unauthorized Payments

If you believe a payment was unauthorized or fraudulent, please contact us promptly at business.support@twocents.io. Unauthorized payment claims may also be handled through Paddle or your financial institution in accordance with their procedures.


8. Consumer Protection Laws

Nothing in this Policy limits any mandatory refund or cancellation rights granted under applicable consumer protection laws. Where such laws require refunds or withdrawal rights, those laws will apply notwithstanding this Policy.


9. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Refund Policy from time to time. Any changes will be posted on our website with an updated "Last Updated" date. Continued use of the service after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised Policy.
