Twocents ("Company," "we," "us," or "our") is committed to protecting the privacy and personal information of our users, both Patrons (individual users) and Businesses (business customers). This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, store, and protect the personal information you provide when using the Twocents platform, website, and associated services (collectively, the "Services"). By accessing or using the Services, you agree to the terms of this Privacy Policy.
We collect information from both Patrons and Businesses depending on how they interact with the Services.
Account Information: When you create an account as a Patron, we may collect your name (optional), email address, and/or phone number. Patrons may choose to submit feedback anonymously or opt to have their name displayed.
Feedback Submissions: When you submit feedback or suggestions, we collect the content of your submission, including any information you choose to provide.
Usage Data: We collect information about how you use the Services, such as page views, button clicks, and access timestamps.
Location Information: With your permission, we may collect approximate location information to suggest nearby businesses.
Rewards & Points: We track points earned through submissions and activity related to rewards or redemption programs.
Account Information: Businesses must create an account using an email address or phone number.
Payment Information: For paid plans, payment and billing information is collected and processed by Paddle.com, which acts as the merchant of record. Twocents does not store or process full credit card numbers. We may receive limited transaction-related information, such as subscription status, plan type, billing dates, and payment confirmation for account management and support purposes.
Usage Data: We collect information about how Business users interact with the dashboard and features, including feature access, trial status, and subscription-related activity.
Communications: We collect information when Business users contact customer support or otherwise communicate with us.
We use collected information to operate, improve, and support the Services. Specific uses include:
We do not sell or rent personal information. We may share information in the following limited circumstances:
With Businesses (Patron Submissions Only): Feedback submitted by Patrons may be shared with the receiving Business. If a Patron includes their name, it will be shared; otherwise, submissions remain anonymous.
With Service Providers: We may share information with trusted third-party service providers that help us operate the Services, such as analytics, customer support, hosting, and payment providers. This includes Paddle, which processes subscription payments as merchant of record. These providers are bound by confidentiality and data protection obligations.
With Legal Authorities: We may disclose information where required by law, regulation, legal process, or governmental request.
Business Transfers: If Twocents is involved in a merger, acquisition, or asset sale, user information may be transferred as part of that transaction.
We use reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards to protect personal information from unauthorized access, disclosure, alteration, or destruction.

The Services are not intended for children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If we become aware that such information has been collected, we will delete it promptly.
